Asia Center Graduate Summer Research Grants (For Multiple Country/Comparative Projects) The Harvard University Asia Center offers grants to support graduate research during the summer on projects/topics that look at the countries of East, South, and Southeast Asia comparatively or explore the relations among Asian countries. Individual country topics may only be considered if they are part of broader, multi-country research. This connection must be made explicit in the application. The competition is open to graduate students from all schools at Harvard at all stages of their academic careers. These grants are intended to fully fund the proposed project, subject to review of the budget. Please note that these grants will not cover equipment purchases. Recipients are required to submit upon their return, a brief report on their work over the summer. Grant recipients become Student Associates of the Asia Center and may be asked to present their work and/or contribute to the Asia Center’s website and/or publications.
