Winning Photographs from Korea from the 9th Annual 2012 International Photo Contest!

On Thursday, November 15, 2012 in the Harvard Advising Programs Office, Suite 470 of Holyoke Center, the winners of the 9th annual International Photo Contest were chosen.  There were over 400 entries. The winning photos are in the order below.

The Korea Institute's Special Photo Prize was awarded to: Ms. Sarah Berlow, '13, for her photograph entitled "On the Road Up", a serene Korean temple on the hillside in Seoul. Sarah was an intern last summer in Seoul.

The Korea Institute's Honorable Mention Photo Prize was awarded to: Ms. Emi Margaret Nietfeld, '15, for her photograph entitled "Woman on the Pyongyang Metro, North Korea" Emi was also an intern last summer in Seoul. However, she did some independent travel to North Korea after her internship, where she captured this shot. Emi's photo also received an Honorable Mention Award in the People Category from the Office of International Programs.
