Professor Carter J. Eckert, Yoon Se Young Professor of Korean History, has been awarded the 2017 Walter Channing Cabot Fellowship for his recent publication, Park Chung Hee and Modern Korea: The Roots of Militarism 1866-1945 (Cambridge, MA: Harvard University Press, 2016).
