Short Bio:

Sim Woo-kyung  
Professor and Chair, Landscape Architecture Program Director, Institute of Environment and Ecology, Korea University, Seoul, South Korea

Sim Woo-kyung is Professor of Garden History and Landscape Planting Design at the Graduate School of Life Sciences and Environment, Korea University in Seoul, South Korea where he has taught since 1988. In September 1988, he assumed the Chair of the Landscape Architecture Program. In 2007 he became Director of the Institute of Environment and Ecology, Korea University.

He offers courses on the subject of Garden History and Landscape Planting Design for undergraduates, and Restoration of the Imaginary Environment in Landscape Architecture for the Graduate School.
