Wagner Special Lecture

People Involved:
Burglind Jungmann, Professor of Korean Art History, University of California, Los Angeles
Chaired by Eugene Wang, Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Professor of Asian Art, Harvard University

The Wagner Special Lecture is a memorial lecture series in honor of Edward W. Wagner (1924-2001), who was one of the luminaries in the field of Korean studies in the United States and served the cornerstone of the Korean program at Harvard. As Professor Wagner's research focused primarily on the Chosŏn period (1392-1910), the memorial lecture series named after him brings an outstanding scholar whose work is mainly on the premodern period to speak at Harvard.
