**Abstract:**  
This presentation will introduce types of sources available for the study of Korea's environmental history. I will cover some of the sources available in the Harvard-Yenching library along with other methods used to approach this rapidly growing subfield. My main focus will be on sources related to the environmental history of the Choson era but approaches to other periods will also be included.
