    Yoon Il Hwan (Ph.D., Dept. of English, SUNY-Buffalo) is Associate Professor in the Department of English Language and Literature at Pusan National University. His expertise is in British and American romantic and modern poetry. His recent research interests include a complex intellectual and cultural history of 19th and 20th century British and American poetry, and historical materialism of social structure and cultural change reflected in Romantic and Modern writers. He has also examined the way the invention of the individual body, the emergence of colonialism, and capitalist market had made a deep impact on the psychology and poetics of the writers in the period.
