Unfortunately, the Korea Institute does not offer any term time funding for Harvard students going to Korea. No ad-hoc requests will be accepted.

Korea Institute-Yonsei University Summer Scholarship (PARTIAL Summer Tuition Waiver)

Yonsei University provides a PARTIAL tuition waiver for an undergraduate student to attend the Yonsei International Summer School (YISS).   (1 million Korean Won towards the tuition.) Korea Institute Summer Research Travel Grants (Undergraduate)

Korea Institute Undergraduate Summer Travel Grants are awarded to Harvard undergraduates in the humanities or social sciences to use in Korea for research and/or field work relating to a senior honors thesis in an area of Korean studies. Typically, the amount of the award is limited to the cost of travel in the research project.

Korea Institute Scholarships for the Harvard Summer School-Korea Program

The Korea Institute offers limited scholarships to undergraduate students who need additional financial assistance to attend the Harvard Summer School-Korea program. Students on financial aid are given priority. Awards are made in consultation with the Office of Career Services. You do NOT apply via CARAT and there is no 'official' form.

These grants are offered on an ongoing basis; however organizations are encouraged to apply as early as possible as funds are limited.
